This work was executed in Autodesk Sketchbook in as few strokes as possible, capturing the totality of the moment while limiting its expression to the most essential lines. A suited man’s form is shattered in the instant a bullet pierces his chest, his face dissolving into the semblance of a skull. It is a meditation on the fragility of life that focuses on line economy and stylized anatomy to suggest movement, tension, and mortality without relying on extraneous detail.
